November 6, 201213 yr I just made a new airport in ADE and I want to put my apporach data in the ngx so I can fly into the airport so far I have put in the the airport name and runways I'am a bit confused about the app data so it it just the airport name and runways of my airport and I put the material into the pmdg sidstar folder and the ngx still says it is not in the data base any ideas Weston Hall
November 6, 201213 yr This is what I did for KXTA (area 51),Remember,No Support from PMDG,If you alter these files! Back up your data! go to,Your Drive\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\PMDG\NavData,to access these text documents. I don't know if it makes a difference in what order these entry's are added,but from looking at PMDG's file structure,it looks like they are filed by latitude. For example this number in the HOMEY KXTA12 fix,(37.233056) At least we can get to the VFR FAF for the runways now,I will try my luck on instrument approaches next. Add to wpNavAPT,(This is for US Cities-X Las Vegas KXTA area 51 airport,I think the default runways are offset a little from this add-on scenery.) For example ,runway 24 at Nantucket Mass, "KACK24 06303241" 06303 is 6303 feet and 241 heading.,I dont know why there is a leading zero.
