July 17, 200421 yr Bill, looks interesting. Do you find that one of the textures seems to "fit all" or do you change them back and forth. For sure I'd forget before the flight and end up with funny looking textures if some of them don't match. billg
July 18, 200421 yr billg,So far I have only installed 2 of the 4 texture sets-the Brown and Orange. Haven't checked out the Canyon yet (orange) but the Brown set gets rid of the stark white cliffs which I think look "unreal".Bill
July 18, 200421 yr The Brown set covers pretty much of the world, while the orange is basically for Arizona -- AND THE GRAND CANYON!!!!! The dark grey is generally for the HimalayasYou can switch back and forth between the Brown and light grey. In FS2002 you can do it with the app running -- just refresh the scenery. But I think you have to exit FS2004 and re-enter to see the effect.Overall, the impact is breath taking :)-------------------Racartronit means something, but I just can't remember what
July 18, 200421 yr Ben Hartnet's cliffs.zip-in the Avsim library - is IMHO a must have add-on.Not only do the Hudson Valley NY cliffs and mountains look real now, but I can also see some roads now which were partially obscured before.Very nice job Ben.Bill
