  1. The Realairsimulations SCOUT package is the best IMHO.Tried them all, just that,TRIED them all. Love the Amphibian andHolger's scenery.Bill P
  2. Hi EdYour sirp scenery screen shots are beautiful.By the way, you can fly from Vancouver to Juneaunow through Holger Sandmann "Land". It doesn't get any better.Bill
  3. IMO Realair has the Best products AND the Best service.Hope you figure it out.Bill
  4. Brake problem-try recalibrating your throttle. If it doesn't go all the way off, you'll creep.

I had 3 ctd's that I traced to fs2004 downloaded weather. I deleted the temp files in explorer and downloaded again with NO problems.HOWEVER, I did install AUTOSAVE. No sense taking chances and withthe time set at 600 secs it only stutters slightly every 10 mins.I can live with that.Hope you work out your problems. This will work for me and my cross country adventure in the fabulous RAS SCOUT!Bill
  6. The Microsoft Sidewinder Strategic Commander72 programmable buttons-(6X4X3-6 buttons can have 24 different profiles and you have three of these) 2 zoom buttonsA moveable top section can also be programed. -I use this to move around inside my taildrager Scout to see better during taxi by moving left or right inside the cockpit. Also back and forth or up and down.I have used this unit for about three years. You can fly HOTAS very easily.Oh yeah, it cost me $20.00US then! You can probably check it out at the MS site. If not, try a Google search.About setting your engines,I don't see why it can't be done since EACH of the 72 buttons can have a string of commands associated with it.I use it for complete ATC, incremental prop and mixture, panel pop ups,etc......Enjoy,Bill
  7. Ben Hartnet's cliffs.zip-in the Avsim library - is IMHO a must have add-on.Not only do the Hudson Valley NY cliffs and mountains look real now, but I can also see some roads now which were partially obscured before.Very nice job Ben.Bill
  8. billg,So far I have only installed 2 of the 4 texture sets-the Brown and Orange. Haven't checked out the Canyon yet (orange) but the Brown set gets rid of the stark white cliffs which I think look "unreal".Bill
  9. Jimmig,You can fix your SF260 starting problem by going to the Realairweb site-SUPPORT. Just download the easier engine starting "patch" and all should be well. The SF260 has been my 99% aircraft until I got the Scout. The fabulous Realair team has outdone themselves with the Scout. Thanks Rob, Sean etal.Bill P

  11. Thank you Rob Young.Thank you RAS.Thank you for, IMHO, the best GA aircraft there is.Oh yeah, the view from the VC is absolutely awesome.I've been thanking you since the FLY days, and I hope it continues.Regards,Bill Polak
  12. The same thing happened to me yesterday-3 times. Here is something interesting, for the past few days I geta HARDWARE FAILURE message when I boot up. My problem is my power supply's +3.3V voltage is running in the redin the bios power section. It is low by about .35 volts.Good news, it will be replaced free since it is only 8 months old.If the new power supply fixes the problem with booting out to the desktop, I will let you know. Sure hope one of the "guru"s read this post!!!!!
