using game port with win 7 64 bit

hello I have just been given a set of thrust master elite rudder pedals unused! boxed ,with a games port connection? ,is there anyway these can be used with win 7 64 bit or is it a case of just put them in the skip? I have heard of a games port to usb cable but with mixed results ,any help greatfull recieved ,thanks for reading
