Scenery Read Error

Featured Replies

Hi Simmers,I've got a problem.I installed my FS9 several times (and deleted ALL files after deinstalling), but when I start a flight, there is always the error "Scenery read error: Attempting to open a nonexistent directory: . Click OK to continue."There are no Addons installed. It's the naked Flight Simulator. It looks like that:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/85570.jpgWHY is this error? It sucks... :(

What you're seeing is the result of a corrupt installation. Have a look at this Knowledge Base Article at Microsoft. It covers this problem for FS2000 to FS9.http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...kb;en-us;312463Just cut and paste the entire link of it won't work.I had the same problem with FS2002 and if you follow the directions it works fine.Cheers, JohnBoeing 727/737 & Lockheed C-130/L-100 Mechanichttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpg
