Looking for Feedback on MSE 2.0 for ME and VT

Featured Replies

I'm curious to know from anyone who has purchased MegaSceneryEarth ME or VT who also has NH 2.0. Specifically, I am interested in how seamlessly the two scenery areas blend. I currently own v1.0 tiles of Northern Arizona and Southern Utah, and while I am marginally satisfied with both of these independently, I was disappointed to see that there is no blending between the two coverage areas, and there's a jarring strip of default FS scenery between them which really detracts from the "immersive VFR experience". Moreover, the Arizona photography has a marked tint compared to Utah scenery - there's no color transition. I have some concern after seeing the 2.0 screenshots of MA (which apparently are only 1.0 and 2.0m resolution) and just how "blue tinted" everything is. I am concerned the 2.0 products may suffer the same ills as its predecessor. I am contemplating purchasing the 50cm aerials of VT and ME to accompany my NH scenery, but don't want to put money down if there is a glaring difference between them. Can anyone comment to this effect?

PS. I *love* NH 2.0, incidentally, for anyone thinking about dropping some money on New England photo-scenery. Stunning visuals statewide.
