I had to reinstall fsx after a long painful process I don't seem to be able to install dx10 patch 3.1.1 I get an error unable to locate folder ShaderHLSL

Any help appreciated

Hi Fateh; It's possible that the registry is corrupt following the reinstall of FSX, so go here, (Flight1), download, save and run the fix, and Steve's installer should work just fine.

 

You still need to do the registry repair because other addons will fail also, but for an easy way to install the 3.1.1 patch without going through the install process - go to the "How-To" doc and read the third paragraph under "The Fix".
