Problems with the default 172, 182

Featured Replies

Hello Folks,I'm new to the avsim forums,I'm having a problem with the default 182 and 172 visual models. I installed FS9 about a month ago and every thing works great except that the default 172 and 182 visual models have this strange line extending out of the tail horizontally. It's very obvious and it's always there - even on the AI 172/182's.I've called tech support and they were really helpful, but they had a problem emailing me a new MDL file. I never recieved it. Whats interesting is that I got the same problem when I installed the FS2002 Project Fokker. I don't have the problem with other FS9 planes - default or addon. Has anybody out there had this problem before? Thanks,Brandon

System specs may be helpful.Dan

I agree that computer specs are in order. This is a graphics adapter problem. You might try updating your MOBO's controller chip drivers, i.e., Intel, VIA, SiS, AMD, ALi, NForce, DirectX to version 9.0b or c from Microsoft Windows Update site, then try uninstalling your present graphics adapter drivers and updating to a different version.W. A screenshot would also help.

I pulled up the 172 to get a sceenshot and uh, after two months of giving me problems, um...looks like problem went away...;-) sorry about bothering you folks.
