The westbound leg is finally here! Traveling from East to West over the Gulf of Mexico, pilots will enjoy a wonderful flight. Cross the Gulf Westbound 2013 will be taking place on Sunday, January 27th. There will be a booking system for this event. The controllers are ready, so bring it on! This event will be raising money for Hurricane Sandy relief. For more information about the fundraiser, visit the event website.

 

There will be 3 featured departure airports and 3 featured arrival airports (listed below). Pilots are encouraged to depart the featured departure airports and arrive at the featured arrival airports. Pilots can book their flight on the event website starting 3 weeks prior. The booking process will take less than 2 minutes.

 

Please plan to arrive at your destination before 0400z.
