for some reason, when i bring my planes to overspeed the little "overspeed" text in the red box in th ebottom does not appear... any solutions? i dont want to uninstall and reinstall because i have a lot of payware scenery, addons, and other things on there

You haven't modified your fsx.cfg file at all? Those red boxes can be disabled in there. Also if you're flying an add-on aircraft maybe that doesn't trigger it?
