Erratic Parking Brake

I recently disassembled my CH Footpedals to repair a broken wire for one of the brakes.For what it might be worth, "Sandman" has an excellent post on disassembling and reassembling the unit on flightsim.com. I would recommend that you take a peek.The wiring configuration leaves something to be desired as I found three others which were very near the breaking point and repaired them as well. If your pedals get a lot of use and you have not had this experience yet, rest assured that YOU WILL!For some reason, releasing my parking brake works some of the time and does not at others. I can press the brake pedals several times and it will finally go off, but not on the first attempt every time. Testing and/or calibrating the pedals with either MS or FSUIPC is as smooth as silk and fully indicates that the pots are responding throughout pedal travel.Anybody else had this experience?Thanks:RTH
