BARO REF reset

Hi there,

 

Just recently bought the 747-400 for FSX and loving it. Just one question, the BARO REF reset button doesn't seem to be working. On the 737-NGX, the reset button clears any selected minimum, but on my 747 it doesn't. Is this simulated or is there something wrong with my sim?

I do not think it is supposed to reset the minimum altitude (e.g., reset the BARO value to 400).

 

From B747 FCOM 10.10.49:

"Decision Height Reset (RST) Switch (inner)

Push – resets PFD flashing amber DH.

Clears HEIGHT ALERT display on related PFD."

 

Based on this excerpt, I am assuming that the RST button only resets the visual indication on the PFD that is shown after passing minimums.
