Orbx PNW and UTX Europe?

Featured Replies

Hello and Happy New Year!

After flying around in the wonderful Orbx region of PNW I decided to try out Orbx England last week. In addition to EU England , I also installed UTX Europe which I felt will compliment the balance of the European region. All my Orbx scenery files are always placed as top priority in the FSX Scenery Library with UTX scenery files below. With FTX Central set to Europe all scenery is displayed to Orbx standard within England and outside of England UTX (along with GEX) take care of the rest. All is good in Europe!

However, upon switching back FTX Central to North America, I am surprised to find blurry textures in the PNW area? The region is dull and without any definition as can be seen in the below screen shots around the CYVR area:

I believe there is some incompatibility issues with UTX Europe and Orbx regions. I never had this problem before installing a UTX product. I do not have UTX Canada/USA and I am puzzled as to why UTX Europe would conflict with a North American Orbx region? Has anyone else experienced such incompatibilty issues with these particular add-ons? Any suggestions on how to correct this would be very much appreciated!

Best regards
