August 9, 200421 yr There used to be a simulator called "UFO" where your goal was to fly near a city and wirelessly draw on the city's electricity to power your craft. The interface and accomnying maps were so somilar to early versions of Flight Simulator they may have had common code. At the time versions of Flight Simulator for some other computers were published by a company other than Microsoft. I gather the "UFO" program AND early versions Flight Simulator were developed by a third company that was later purchased by Microsoft and relocated to Redmond.
