Why Should we Have to pay for an PIC737 Up-date for Windows 7

Hi,

I have the PIC737-300 for FSX but I think it's for Windwos Xp. I'm now running Windows 7 64 bit. I can install the product but when I load it, the EADI and ND is blacked out and none of the switches nor the bottons will not work. I'm not sure but does this mean I have to purchase another PIC737-300 product for Windows 7 after already paying for the product for Windows Xp? It seems to me that there should be an update to add to the product I already have to make it work for FSX in Windows 7. Why should we have to pay full price for another one when we already paid for the FSX product? Or, how does it work?
