January 6, 201313 yr I'm getting close to making the jump from XP to Win 7. I'm still using FS2004 because of my financial commitment in FS2004. On payware scenery ie Aerosoft, the installer usually installs the scenery itself into its own aerosoft folder within FS2004. Is this still the case with Win 7 or do you need to use the scenery install method. So in payware cases you need to unzip into a new folder and manually install as described in various threads. Ive so much scenery installed in XP I keep putting off moving to Win 7 because of these reasons. thanks . Steve
January 7, 201313 yr Run both Sims, can't say I have encountered any peculiarities. Procedures are the same for FS9 & FSX within W7. Many developers create their own folders, many do not. Arnie....if it ain't broke, don't fix it...
January 16, 201313 yr It would not be hard in the window 7 as it like support and the developers also have the idea for such things to handle it easily. Web site development services
