August 11, 200421 yr Hello,I prefer flying in full screen mode where I get around 60fps, low detail. However if I fly in windowed mode I can easily get an extra 15 fps.Can anyone tell me why this is; and if I can get the same fps from full screen as windowed. Thanks
August 12, 200421 yr (Bump)BTW - I have an ATI card; do others get similar results? I have no idea why my frames would go down so much when I goto full screen mode.
August 12, 200421 yr When in Windowed mode you're running in 2D. In full screen mode the system is working in 3D (if you have the VPU drivers configured correctly... and it sounds like you do).Greg
August 12, 200421 yr May sound like a silly question, but isn't 3D only relevant if you're using the VC? billg

Also AA and Af is not possible in software.
