Dash 8 freeware problem

Recommended Posts

There are 2 DeHavillan Dash 8 freeware planes in the download library. One of them is old (2008 I think) and is a Carrabian Airlines plane. The newer one (2012) is called Bahamas something or other. The older one works fine, but the more recent one has all the guage panel replaced by a black rectangle in every inside view. Since the recent one looks better from the outside, I would like to use that one. I installed both in the same way, by unzipping the compressed folder inside the FSX folder. The result is the same in FSX and Prepar3D - black rectangle instead of gauges for the newer plane. I even tried to move the plane folder by hand into the /simobjects/airplanes folder which is how I got them into Prepar3D, but still the older plane is fine but the newer one has the black rectangle.

Is the newer plane bugged or am I doing something wrong? The newer plane has no installation instructions, but the older one says to unzip in the FSX folder as I did.
