August 20, 200421 yr Hello Members.A quick question. My default setting is the MSFS2002 B747-400 at Manchester UK.When lined up on 24L at Manchester (R/W Heading 231 degrees true). Why does my ND show 343 degrees please.....?Best Regards,Paul JenningsUK
August 20, 200421 yr Search your fs2002Addon SceneryScenery folder for any AF2_XXXX.bgl files. Remove any AF2_XXXX.bgl files and see if the problem is corrected. Are you indicating the course setting is showing 343deg or the compass heading is showing 343deg. If the course setting is showing 343deg, then use the mouse on the digital course showing on the ND and change the course setting.Rename your fs2002.cfg to fs2002.OLD. Restart fs2002, let it stabilize, create a flight at Manchester with the B747-400 and see if the problem is corrected.W. Sieffert Bill Sieffert
August 20, 200421 yr Hello Member. Thanks for a quick reply. Unfortunately, the fix didn't work.I found an AF2_bgl file, relating to EGLL, not EGCC, and deleted it.Renamed the CFG file to OLD, and re-started FS2002, but the Compass heading still shows 343 degrees when lined up at 24L EGCC.Best Regards
August 20, 200421 yr Have you got `gyro drift` enabled in the options? If so, you need to press `D` a lot to keep the alignment.Allcott
