How to make FSX smooth with any LCD, LCD Monitor or Plasma TV connected by DVI / HDMI

No cfg file tweaks needed just widescreen true and vsync ForceFullScreenVsync=1

Go to your video control panel AMD Catalyst or Nvidia Control Panel.

On Nvidia Control Panel go to Display

Select Change Resolution

Select your Refresh rate 60Hz, 50Hz, 30Hz, 24Hz (30Hz is best)

If you have an AMD / ATI Card go to AMD ATI Catalyst

Select Desktop Management

Select Desktop Properties

Select your Refresh rate 60Hz, 50Hz, 30Hz, 24Hz(30Hz is best)

Load FSX go to settings

Select Graphics Target Frame rate

Adjust your frame rate to match your Hz (30Hz Best)

ADJUST YOUR SCENERY, WEATHER AND TRAFFIC SLIDERS AS NECESSARY

ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS MAKE SURE FSX MAINTAINS YOUR FRAME RATE.

I’m running 3 screens which are 24” at a res of 6048 x 1080p

30FPS, 30Hz and it’s smooth

Please note this works for me and it might help you.
