Would you use 2D panels designed for separate displays? (poll)

  1. 1. Do you use (or would you use) a 2D panel more if:

    • I would use it more if the panel/gauges were designed to be on a seperate display.

    • I would use it more if it was designed to be used on a 2nd PC.
      2
    • I really would not use it more either way more or usually use just the VC.

It seems to me as I fly more and more with Prepar3D (and FSX) I use the 2D cockpit less and less in its traditional state (well hardly at all), and use the VC more and more. But the trend I believe I am seeing as PC's have become more powerful to run more displays while flying, simmers are taking advantage of this by moving the gauges to a dedicated display, or in my case using a 2nd PC solely for a dedicated panel.

So I was curious, from a simmer's point of view, if aircraft developers stopped making the traditional 2D panel but instead made 2D panels for external displays and included these to operate as a client on a 2nd PC, would you find this appealing?

Thoughts?
