August 23, 200421 yr Hello flight sim friends :)Need some advice from you MSFS gurus...The plane I fly most in my FS2000 is the 737-400. However, Im getting very bored of the panel and the awesome screenshots you guys put on here of the panels of your NextGen 737s has made me jealous! So I want to create a wannabe NG737 panel for the default B737 in FS2000.To do this I plan to use the electronic displays from the Learjet panel in my new 737 panel.I dont know a lot about doing this so I have two questions to those of you on here who are well-versed in these matters:1.) Is there a utility or tutorial for FS2000 that helps with postioning and sizing guages? For example: how do you ensure that the spacing between the electronic displays is equal? (Im sure you could by juggling it manually, but is there a program out there to make it easier?)2.) Will the Learjet's screens automatically display all the relevant *B737* information correctly? (N1, N2, EGT, fuel burn, etc). For example the engine parameters on the default 737 panel are shown on those rows of tiny round guages - will the Learjet screens show all of this correctly on their displays?Thank you! http://instagiber.net/smiliesdotcom/kao/otn/pblob4.gif
August 23, 200421 yr I'll try to help.Q1: There is no program that I am aware of. I just use mspaint to determine the coordinates for gauge and its size and "juggle from there. I have used panel editors which allow you to drag and drop the various gauges where you want them but I prefer to do it the old fashioned way.Q2: I have not tried using the Learjet engine gauges on the 737 but I have no doubt they will work just fine. Try it and see; it will only take a few minutes to edit the panel.cfg file.Make a backup before you start editting, of course. R-
