August 28, 200421 yr Hi all, i am using MS2002 pro, i can,t get the ILS for Fukuoka RJFF 111.70 run 16 in Japan , i can get the VOR 114.50 ok , how can i put it in, as there is only one runway in use i can,t obviously use the opposite direction , any help would be appreciated ,thanks:-)
August 28, 200421 yr I assume you mean FS2002Pro. I just tried the ILS for RJFF RW16 using the default C172 and it worked correctly.Start a flight at RJFF and place the aircraft on RW16, dial 111.7 into the NAV1 radio, and set it as the active radio, turn the OBS to 157deg. Once the frequency is active, you should notice the glideslope bar above the center (below glideslope). The vertical bar should be centered.Press the Y key (slew mode), press the F3 key and the aircraft should rise. Watch the glideslope bar and press the F2 key when the glideslope moves to the full down position (above glideslope). Turn NUMLOCK off. Press the keypad 2 (downarrow key) and the aircraft should slowly move away from runway 16. Press the keypad 5 key to stop the movement. Press the keypad 4 key and the aircraft should move left and the vertical bar should move right. Press the keypad 5 key to stop the movement. Press the keypad 6 key and the aircraft should move right and the vertical bar should move to the center. If you continue to the right the vertical bar should move to the left. Press the keypad 5 key to stop the movement. If the above works, then the ILS is working. If not, have you installed any third party scenery that may have excluded the ILS and other NAVAIDs. If so, temporarily deselect the addon scenery using the Scenery Listing enable/disable checkbox beside the respective scenery. Restart the flight simulator and recheck the above.W.
