August 29, 200421 yr after blasting the baron to bits for it being to pitch happy i just discovered something, again. seems to be working. i have been using the default settings and default resolution 600x800 but ran my desk top at 1024x768 or whatever it is. i remember hearing somewhere to run FS9 and your desktop at the same resolution so i tried changing it to 800x600. then did a recalibration of my stick and tried the baron out, not really expecting much but to my suprise it flew really nice. alot different than before and very flyable. i have calibrated my stick more than once but don't remember changing the desktop resolution to match FS9 so that may have been the fix. maybe someone knows more about this but i just felt i needed to give FS9 the benefit of the doubt since i had some not so nice things to say about it. i'm also aware there are some people who swear by the baron "as is" and i for the life of me couldn't understand that but maybe i can now. by the way, the default settings really look pretty good too visually and they default to the higher settings. anyway if the baron keeps flying like this i will be flying it alot. also THERE IS something to be said for the default settings. william
