August 30, 200421 yr Hello. Am sure this has been covered many times, so for that I aplogize. My HD crashed and I am reloading everything...very time consuming...anyway, I have the POSKY B757-200 and want to add a panel from fs2002panels that has been updated to 2004 standards, for lack of better term.Would greatly appreciate any input as top how and or where to find instructions...so I do it RIGHT the first time. have struggled to add some of my past aircraft back...Thanks very much in advance for the help and guidance.Regards,William R. Lee
August 30, 200421 yr Don't know about this site but "the other site" has a How To section and one of their tutorials is how to add panels. Good step-by-step.
August 30, 200421 yr Sounds like your talking about Lonny Paynes panel. If so, he gives very good installation and update instructions in the readme text. It's pretty painless. Honest.Willhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpg
August 30, 200421 yr Hello. Yes i am...have tried to load it all tonight with no luck whatsoever. At first I had the wrong path...now am not sure..did a search and nothing showed up. the only POSKY B757 I have found is for the VA I fly for.Any suggestions would be appreciated. After losing my HD last week I am at a loss to get back to where I was...has been so long I have forgotten how do do alot of this most basic stuff. When I do th "auto load" for V1.1 of the B757 panel, I put this path in: C:Program FilesMicrosoft gamesFlight Simulator 9Aircraftb757-200 And still cannot find it...thanks in advance for helping a very challenged individual...It is appreciated.regards,Bill Lee
September 1, 200421 yr Author It's a long while ago I installed this excellent panel and didn't have much of a problem with this as far as I know.....However, 4 things you could do:1) the autoinstaller may only have wanted C:Program FilesMicrosoft gamesFlight Simulator 9 - look for a directory like C:Program FilesMicrosoft gamesFlight Simulator 9AircraftAircraftb757-200 in case it has burrowed too deep2) do a Windows search for one of the files you think you have installed - NB pick as unique a name as you can!3) use WINZIP to extract the files without using the autoinstaller4) set up a dummy, empty FS2002 directory C:Program FilesMicrosoft gamesfs2002 and autoinstall the panel to that, then copy the resulting folders and files across into the appropriate slots in FS9
