Programming the buttons/keys in FSX Acceleration

The standard buttons/keys assignments that are supposed to be made when Acceleration is installed didn't happen on my installation. I uninstalled and reinstalled and no joy. Can someone point me to the proper place to manually enter those assignments so they will be there permamently, please? At present, I have to reassign them every time I want to fly Acceleration missions which is particularly annoying in flying Cariier Ops.
