March 2, 201313 yr I have a general question about Carenado aircraft and updates. if I go to My Account on the website, I can download the full installers. There's also a column that says "Activation key / Upgrade available", and many of the products have an active "Update" link. I'm pretty sure that those updates are already included if you download the full installer after the date indicated by the service pack, but I just want to confirm this. -
March 2, 201313 yr No, not all of the optional updates are included in the installer. For instance I have the C208 Caravan but the improved FDE file is an additional download.

Yeah, don't have the C208, but I think for the C185 there's an "optional" FDE update in the updates section. I guess they don't include those, since they wouldn't be "optional" then. However for the C210 installer I downloaded, the "modified date" of the files within the .zip file are 2012-05-31, where as the last service pack is dated 2011-07-13. Seems like a downgrade to install that.. edit: I also checked the C337 I have, and the files in the .zip are dated 2011-09-07 - the date of the first service pack, but earlier than the second service pack, which came out in 2012. -
March 2, 201313 yr Maybe if i rephrased - The lastest installer may well not include the optional service packs which when installed offer increased functionality and / or a better user experience of the aircraft model, any such updates are available from the official Carenado update site here - http://www.carenado....p?accion=update
