recorded flap sound

Featured Replies

Hi I was wondering if anyone knew how to take a recorded sound (flaps) and use it with flight sim 2004. I recorded one on my MP3 player and listened to it on the computer in winamp and it worked fine so i placed the file in the sound file for the 737 and named it bmflaps so I went to try it out but iu didn't hear anything. Thanks in advance.Tyler

I think all sounds for MSFS have to be in .WAV format.Im guessing your flap sound was recorded in MP3 format in which case it wont work.If thats the case get DB PowerAmp and change it to WAVShould work then.Get it here:http://www.download.com/dBpowerAmp-Music-C...usic&tag=button
