June 20, 200322 yr http://www.wired.com/news/politics/0,1283,59305,00.htmlSenator Hatch, the idiot in the news recently for proposing that companies be permitted to destroy the computers of people who download copyright materials for the internet should be careful what he asks for.Turns out that the scripts he used to make the menus on his website are actually illegally using unlicensed software, making him a target of his "idea".Read the article, it's really interesting, considering that Continental Airlines is pulling the same scam. I used to use (a correctly registered version) of those menus, and I really hope that the author gets some compensation for it!

June 20, 200322 yr Looks like Senator Hatch needs to lead by example...Now he's the suspected software piratehttp://wired.com/news/politics/0,1283,59305,00.html>SNIPSenator Orrin Hatch, who this week noted he supports technology that would destroy the PC's of those who download illegal content, apparently ran an unlicensed, and therefore illegal, JavaScript menu system on his own website. According to Wired News...>SNIPWonder what his excuse will be, maybe the same one half the folks who's computers he supports nuking would use?:( :-roll
June 25, 200322 yr Did anyone even bother to ask the Senator and/or the copyright owner?I thought not...
