Multiplayer and repaints

I have a question on flying a repainted plane in free flight mode. When flying into an area where a group of flyers are located what do they see when viewing my plane. Is it the repainted one, the original, or something else?

 

Also, I see some planes that look like weird stealth planes resembling a  paper airplane.

Each player must have the same planes/repaints in order to see each other. The delta is shown if you do not have the plane/repaint that the other player is flying.
