This likely my inexperience with this propjet and maybe propjets in general, but though I seem to do well enough in other areas of control, I am having difficulty in controlling spool up to achieve reasonable taxi speeds.  I am using a CH yoke (with built in levers) and only with holding my breath each time can I move the throttle slightly enough to manage the spool up and hold in a good taxi range.  I am moving the condition levers to low position. Any ideas on where to go to alleviate this challenge?

I can only guess, but it sounds like a throttle calibration issue to me.  Personally, I calibrate with FSUIPC.
