Fsx camera issue

Featured Replies

Hello!

First of all I hope I placed this topic in the correct forum! :D

Now to my issue, yesterday when playing FSX I think I by accident clicked a keycombination which changed the "mode" of the camera. Previosly I've been able to hold Blankspace and then move the mouseto move the camera but after yesterdays accident I need to click in the direction to move the camera!?!?

This is a very annoying issue and I would really appreciate some help! :D

Hi, and welcome to Avsim!

This sounded like an interesting problem and I came across the following (quoted from fsinsider.com):

Using the Mouse to Look Around
You can use the mouse to look left, right , up, or down while in the virtual cockpit or in spot plane view.
To use the mouse to look around while in 3-D virtual cockpit or spot plane view

  • Press and hold SPACEBAR, then move the mouse.

-or-

  • Press SHIFT+O to toggle the mouse look function ON or OFF.

When mouse look is ON, the cursor changes to a small cross.

Might that be the solution to your problem?

Regards,

Flo
