Featured Replies

hello,

i have eye finity but i dont know how to set fsx up with it. i remember doing it once but the cockpit looked so zoomed in and would only let me zoom out a little but it looked so bad, so i never tried it again. as of today im just curious to what fsx could change and look like in eyefinity. does any body know how to set it up properly.

many thanks.

Did you change the fsx,cfg line wideviewaspect = true? or false? I had mine set to true and I was running 6070 x 1080 resolution. If you have opus that could help you with the zoom aspect of it quite a lot with the camera configurations. Also if you get the streching on the left and right monitors there is not much you can do about that. They call it the fish eye effect. You can try messing around with the zoom. Also you have to go through each one of your panel.cfg for the aircraft you intend to fly and change the 2d panel sizes. If you open the 2d panel by mistake, you will get the spinning circle issue and will affect your framerates. Hope some of this will help you.
