I'm looking for some good recording software to record flights in my Majestic Software Q400 and my SimCheck A300B4. Unfortunately, the default FSX recording software doesn't work too good with complex addon aircraft and Camstudio isn't working very well for me either. It is unreliable when recording for long periods of time.

 

Also, I know there is FRAPS, but to me, $40 seems a bit extreme for recording software, so this is off my list.

 

Is there any good freeware recording software out there?

I don't have a link but there is something called FS Recorder 2.0, which plugs into your toolbar.  It works much better than the built in FSX recorder for playing things back, is much smoother, and you can also specify which parameters are recorded.
