October 9, 200421 yr Maybe it was the reinstall and not the patch? After the patch I have the same or less FPS, and the same "micro-stutters."
October 9, 200421 yr I did a test before and after installing the patch using default flight at SeaTac/C172 etc and found about a 4 fps improvement all round.Dave
October 9, 200421 yr Mine seems a little more fluid and the fps seem to be staying higher. I do "NOT" use the auto gen feature so that is maybe why my performance is a bit better.Terry
October 9, 200421 yr Author I have, and my test spot was at TNCM. Before the patch, all settings maxed out except no shadows and mipmapping at 4, my FPS was 18 in the posky 747. After the patch they remained at or above 23 or 24. :)My computer isnt a powerhouse so 23 FPS might be like "hahah 23 FPS!" but anything around 17 is fairly smooth and easily playable for me. Then, my big suprise came. I took off, and my FPS rocketed up into the 70',s 80's, and 90's. Never happened before, they always were in the lower 30's to high 40's. Havent yet tried flying through clouds. Maybe there will be some less stutters... :)Jason
