Featured Replies

Was just wondering cause i did!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I used to fly from cairo intl. a lot and i used to get from 15 to 20 fps after taking off from rwy 34 as soon as the autogen start to appear N.B:Thats after installing the low resolution autogen file from avsim library and doing a lot of modifications and autogen slider set to NORMALafter installing the patch..now i can get from 30 to 35 fps after taking off from the same rwy and same conditions (weather clear) thats after a fresh install to FS9 without any further installationsor modifications and autogen slider set to VERY DENSE could that be true or its only my mind is dreaming of heaven??????if thats true so THANKS A LOT MICROSOFTMY SYS SPECSP4 1.7GHZ256MB RDRAM40GB HDGEFORCE FX5200 128MB

Maybe it was the reinstall and not the patch? After the patch I have the same or less FPS, and the same "micro-stutters."

I did a test before and after installing the patch using default flight at SeaTac/C172 etc and found about a 4 fps improvement all round.Dave

Mine seems a little more fluid and the fps seem to be staying higher. I do "NOT" use the auto gen feature so that is maybe why my performance is a bit better.Terry

I have, and my test spot was at TNCM. Before the patch, all settings maxed out except no shadows and mipmapping at 4, my FPS was 18 in the posky 747. After the patch they remained at or above 23 or 24. :)My computer isnt a powerhouse so 23 FPS might be like "hahah 23 FPS!" but anything around 17 is fairly smooth and easily playable for me. Then, my big suprise came. I took off, and my FPS rocketed up into the 70',s 80's, and 90's. Never happened before, they always were in the lower 30's to high 40's. Havent yet tried flying through clouds. Maybe there will be some less stutters... :)Jason
