Hi All, 

 

I am new to using SweetFX & the AVSIM forums and am having two issues. I use DX9 and wasn't sure where to post this issue (knowing that the area is for DX10)

 

1) In full screen mode I get a bright splash (See screen shot below) on the screen when changing cameras. Currently I only get this problem with the PMDG 737NGX. I have tried default airplanes and that dosent have this problem.

 

2) FSX would randomly have a get a CTD (no error) just disappears.

You're probably not alone, Asad - I get this, too, but also there's a momentary bright flash when I hit any switch - like releasing the brakes, or turning on any of the alternator/landing light/ignition/starter switches... I think that it's something that happens as a result of SweetFX working after the GPU has "done it's thing" - post-processing or forcing a re-provess of whatever frame has already been sent to the monitor. I expect you would need to go to the Guru3d site to ask there for a more correct answer. I'm not sure how many SweetFX - or post-processing guru's we have at Avsim that can answer it.... maybe Rob (robains) or Steve? 

Thanks alot Paul. Really appreciate your input. For some reason I only get it with the PMDG737 NGX consistently. With default aircrafts only get it sporadically after actions as you mentioned. Will try to get some info on GURU3D.
