Multiple FS9 installs and the patch

HiI have copied versions of FS9 under alterred paths, in order to save the originals while adding add-ons and variations to clouds etc... This way I always had a clean set hidden under "Flight Simulator 9-org" available for getting files back to the original situation.My question: If I install the patch to the original, can I transfer the altered files my "other" FS9? I am suspicious of this because Ive read that after patch install, it requires two uninstalls to uninstall FS( meaning that if I want to apply the patch to a second install it would already have been "installed" according to the registry?).So will it be installed a second time anyway to my path of choice? Or must I do a manual transfer of the files changed.and... does anyone have a list of files patched?I know this is a vaguely worded question....allen
