Hello gents. After a meltdown efficiently destroying my i7 950 (unclocked, go figure), the company I bought it from is sending me a new CPU. They would only provide the 3820, even though I requested the 2700k or 3770k. Even though 3820 isn't a K-cpu, it's partially unlocked, so in terms of OC, I'll manage to raise the clock a bit.

 

However, I'm curious as to if anyone here has tried the 3820 with FSX, either stock clock or OC? I wanna know what to expect from this CPU.

_{3820 is unlocked, but its a lower end Extreme 2011 CPU (it is still quick) and you can overclock fully (so I believe)}
