Anyone tried it? I know I can use it in FSX and transfer but I'm really wanting to remove FSX from my system.

Last I saw, it does not work within P3D. It's been asked about at the support forums and the developer's response is that it will be something to look into. When? He didn't say, but at least he didn't say no, it will never be looked into.
