FSX & XP10 on a Radeon 7970?

I'm looking at getting a new laptop for my flight simming when I get home in August. At the moment the two laptops in contention are:

The other option is:

I've not used a Radeon graphics card for many years now and am unsure of how well the 7970 will handle FSX - does anyone have any experience of this card in FSX? Likewise any thoughts on the relative merits of these systems?

Please, before anybody tells me I shouldn't be running FS on a laptop... I work at sea for eight months each year and I can't carry a desktop around with me so a laptop is my only option!
