June 17, 201312 yr I have no connection with this company; I'm just a poor simmer who was looking for a solution to a problem. I like to use the built-in ATC in FSX once in a while, but I really didn't like having to reach the keyboard to give a response, and I didnt want to waste key positions on my GoFlight modules. I looked at ordering a USB keypad, and also taking a keyboard apart and mounting the keypad seperately. Then I found iSimpleKEyPad. That coupled with an old iPhone 3GS that I used only on wi-fi made a very elegant solution. Here's a screenie below.. I then mounted the iPhone on top of my CH Products yoke and voila.... very elegant solution. I dont need any of the other functions, but the ATC menu works great. I know, I know... others probably found simpler solutions, but I like using my old iPhone to such good advantage. Big thanks to MauroTN, the creator.
