need a suggestion for a videocard compatible with my system specs. At the present moment I have a ZOTAC GTX 480 1536MB GDDR5 C/HDMI PCI-EXP. Do you think I might get better performance with a newer board??

You would probably see a decent performance increase at higher levels of anti-aliasing. But you could get more frames out of overclocking your i7-980X if you haven't done so already.
