i am very new at all this i recently bought fsx and tried to make some scenery for my home town of adelaide australia i downloaded sbuilderx 313 have new super fast computor with the new win8 system 64 bit now the question i need to find out is where can i get a scasm program for a 64 bit system  the error when i try to load sbuilderx 313 is fsx sdk/sdk/tools/shp2 vec.exe is denied also am i right here or am i up the wrong path all i want to do is add some buildings to fsx is there another program  that will do the job ?

You are up the wrong path.

Windows 8, like all the Windows 64 bit operating systems will run 32 bit software.

I suspect that what you have done is to install FSX SDK and/or SbuilderX into the "program files" folder and that the error you are seeing is because Windows 8 is over protective of this folder,

ie, it will not allow other programs to access files inside it.

I suggest that you uninstall FSX SDK and SbuilderX.

Then create another folder, you might call it "Programs", on your C drive.

Re-install Sbuilder and FSX SDK and any other addon programs you may have into this

folder and your problem will go away.

I would suggest also that you use the properties\compatability tab to make all your addon software run as an administrator.

Nick
