Windows8 and Adding Scenery...no name shows

Hi All:

 

I have Windows 8 and am trying to transfer Addon Scenery from my old computer to a new one. The scenery file will not appear after I add it in FS2004 Scenery. A file checkmark appears in FS2004 Scenery but no name and no scenery is observed. Any ideas?

 

Also does AES work in Windows 8?
