Buttkicker gamer 2 Banana plug

Featured Replies

Hello,

Last week i payed a visit to the Aviation mega store near Schiphol Amsterdam.

I wanted to buy a Buttkicker Gamer 2. The guy from the store who helped me was so friendly to open up the box to show me the banana plug problem. The pins of this plug are too close together so they do not fit into the red and black jacks at the back of the receiver. He told me he cutted of the banana plug, stripped the cables and connected the end of the cables into the jacks. While i could do the same i would loose my waranty. I have sent a mail to buttkicker gamer and received the answer that the plugs DO fit. AS i saw in the shop, they don't, even not with brutal force. Has somebody experience with what i saw?

Do that, its normal process to connect you buttkicker to your amplifier (don't say receiver).

For example, often home theaters users cut the end of the cables and connect them to thier amplifiers.

Its normally to cut the end of the cables and connect them to the amplifier (or receiver but not in your statment ((butkicker)) ).

Also banana plugs are available in the home theaters to connect the cables without cut thier ends.

So finally the cutting is normal process.
