I'm getting a new computer.   Will 737 NGX run on Windows 8 or should I go with 7?  Other than PMDG's recommendations do you have any other advice ?

Windows 7.  I believe that Windows 8 has some problems with FSX.  Use an Intel CPU that you can overclock - I am using an Intel i& 3770 k series, Asus P8Z77 motherboard and a good Nvidia GPU.  Intel and Nvidia seem to be a better setup for FSX than the AMD route,  FSX is CPU hungry so get something that you can overclock to say 4.3Ghz.  For graphics I'm using an Nvidia GTX 680 which is good enough for FSX.  Check out some websites via google for what others recommend.
