July 27, 201312 yr Hey Guys, Does anyone have the FR Super Cub Ultra? If so could you look at these two screen captures belowe of mine and look in the areas I circled in red. On mine I get bleed through of the sky, ground, etc. along the top edge of the tach bezel as in the photo examples. I bought this last summer and only flew it a few times, but I could a sworn that bleed through wasn't there then. I've done a couple FSX re-installs since then and decided to revisit the Ultra a couple days ago, and in day light at several various angles it just jumps out at me and my brain just cant tune it out. Its a great plane in all other respects with a great Stolle FDE. Could you check yours and see if it does it too? I emailed the developer about it twice. The first response is pasted below. My second email was to see if there were some textures I could possibly edit to fix, but no response. I had the same issue with the Carenado Mooney, but was able to fix it in photoshop. So far no joy yet with the Ultra. Thanks, Chris Strobel KSNA USA "Hello Chris, Thanks for your email and photo. It’s certainly unfortunate that it’s there, and I appreciate you pointing it out. This is, however, the first time I hear about this small gap in the polygons since the release, and I do see by your photo that you’ve had to lower the viewpoint quite a bit in order to have it stand out. Given that this is the first time I hear of this, and I’m not able to rework the model at this stage, plus that you’ve had the Ultra for over a year (which makes a refund an uncertain idea), I’m not quite sure what you would like me to do? However, the issue has now definitely been noted, and if/when another version comes out (people are asking), this will definitely be eliminated. Regards, Mike" Chris Strobel KSNA
