How much of a performance boost could be expected if FS used hyper-thread tech and would run lets say weather on its own processor? Would one expect this would make a highly noticeable difference or not? I understand what hyper thread is but not sure about the benefits of programs since this is still kinda new and not too many programs use it yet.

What would help more would be a real MP setup. I hear 2xOpterons are really really sweet for FS :DI think that will very well be the future because both Intel and AMD do have real problem cranking up the clock speeds so they try find other methods.
