Review Guidelines

Here are the review guidelines that our volunteer Evangelists work to. Please keep these in mind as you read and comment on the reviews you find here.

• Reviews submitted here are the sole opinion of the Evangelist reviewer. They do not represent the opinion of AVSIM, nor do they speak for AVSIM.
• The subject of reviews must be from uploads to the AVSIM File Library. There will be exceptions to this, but that will be rare. If you are a Freeware author, we encourage you to upload your contributions to the greater flight simming community to AVSIM's library.
• Freeware reviews can come from any flight simulation platform, including Flight, P3D, X-Plane, and so forth.
• We ask that our reviewers only review freeware that is current; that is, no more than about a year old. If you know of an add-on that should be reviewed and exceeds that guideline, please let us know and provide your reasons for having our volunteers review it.
• If you know of an add-on that has not been reviewed here, but you think it should, contact one of the Evangelists and let them know about it.
• Finally, if you want to contribute reviews on a consistent basis, please contact one of the AVSIM Staff via PM and let us know.

The purpose of this forum and the reviews by Evangelist is to recognize the contributions by our hard working freeware authors and to inform you of outstanding add-on's that you may have missed. We can always find flaws with add-on's, but these contributors put in hours and hours of their valuable time to bring you their contribution, however significant or not it may be, to your flight sim hobby. Please remember that as you read these reviews.
