Lately, whenever starting X-Plane, I am advised that an update is available.  After several minutes of going through all the questioning about whether I want to proceed, I am told that I have the latest version (which I already knew) and asks if I want to fly X-Plane.  Then it will start all over again, unless I say that I do not want to update.

 

What's going on and how do I stop it (other than just saying no when first asked).  Don't want to miss any updates....

It's ok.  I made a copy of all that downloaded stuff and stuck it away.  I'll just rebuild from that.  Not a big deal.  Thanks anyway.

Done... and all is well!
